Participants will learn general acting skills and exercises while producing the American Girl plays Hairum Scarum and Check Under the Bed for performance at the end of the week.

About the instructors: Emily will be a senior at SJA and is a three-year member of the SJA/CHS Drama Club. She has performed in a number of productions, including Les Miserables, The Siege of Eshteb, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Oklahoma. She directed two scenes in the Drama Club’s fall production and is an active member of her church youth group’s dinner theater.

Elizabeth will be a senior at SJA and is a three-year member of the SJA/CHS Drama Club. She is also involved with Playmakers of Baton Rouge and the Baton Rouge Little Theatre. She has served as a technical assistant, stage manager or assistant stage manager for a number of productions, and she runs the light and sound systems for SJA functions.
