GIRLS WEEK OUT (two camps)

Participants will enjoy a variety of activities. Each week will feature a different cooking lesson, coffee talk topic and field trip to see a different movie. Additional activities will include a trip to a climbing wall or ropes course along with a trip to Potteryworks or an art class at SJA. Transportation for field trips will be on a school bus.

Course 1301: June 9-13, 1-4:30 p.m., open to rising 7th-8th grade girls
Cost: $125
Instructor: Amy House, SJA school counselor
About the instructor: Amy is a school counselor at SJA. A graduate of SJA, she has a degree in psychology and a master’s of social work from LSU. Amy created Girls Week Out and is excited about her third annual camp.

Course 1302: June 23-27, 1-4:30 p.m., open to rising 5th-6th grade girls
Cost: $125
Instructor: Ashley Dow
About the instructor: Ashley is a 2007 graduate of SJA and is attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where she majors in psychology. Future plans include law school. She has worked with SJA’s Extended Programs camps for several years.
