Annual Giving Program: SJA relies on three components of the Annual Giving Program – Alumnae Annual Giving, Parents Annual Giving and Friends Annual Giving – to provide educational enhancements for current students. Contributions to the Annual Giving Program go directly into the operating budget and provide educational enhancements. The SJA Board of Directors developed Annual Giving Program Donor Societies in order to recognize the generosity of our many alumnae, parents, friends, parents of alumnae and grandparents who have helped make SJA a strong tradition in the Baton Rouge community. Through these donor societies, donors are recognized for their gifts to SJA’s Annual Giving Program each fiscal year, July 1-June 30.

SJA Foundation: Gifts to the SJA Foundation help to perpetuate the high quality education that everyone has come to expect from St. Joseph’s Academy. The SJA Foundation provides for the long-term stability of the school and is set up to receive many types of gifts and endowed funds. Types of online donations accepted to the SJA Foundation include:

• Honor/Memorial Gifts
• Undesignated Gifts

Note: Many companies offer an employee benefit of matching contributions to a non-profit organization. These company programs match a donation from you or your spouse and increase the impact of your gift. Some local companies that offer matching gifts to SJA include Albemarle Corporation, Entergy, Georgia Gulf, Hibernia National Bank, Merrill Lynch, Shell Oil and Vulcan Chemical, among others. Many times, companies also match gifts from retirees.
