Annual Giving Program - Donor Societies

The SJA Board of Directors developed Annual Giving Program Donor Societies in order to recognize the generosity of our many alumnae, parents, friends, parents of alumnae and grandparents who have helped make SJA a strong tradition in the Baton Rouge community.



Heritage Society (gifts of $7,905 and above): The Heritage Society, SJA's premier donor recognition level, honors all who graduated from SJA (7,793) through the 2009 graduating class.
   
Shield Society (gifts of $5,000 - $7,904): The shield represents SJA’s deep ties to tradition, dating back to 1868. Giving at this level honors the strong traditions we continue to pass on to our students.
   
1868 Society (gifts of $1,868 to $4,999): Your support at this level commemorates the founding year of SJA and your vision for what it can be tomorrow.
   
Mother Alice Society (gifts of $1,000 to $1,867): Mother Alice was able to make her dream a reality because of faithful friends who were willing to sacrifice for the continuation of the Academy. Contributions at this level honor Mother Alice.
   
Arch Companions (gifts of $500 to $999): Roman arches grace the walkways around campus. These arches provide a secure structure for the many activities that take place within them, just as your support at this level provides a financial structure for our enhancements.
   
Guardians of the Academy (gifts of $250 to $499): Guardians of the Academy encourage the school in its mission and provide for the future of SJA.
   
St. Joseph the Worker (gifts up to $249): In recognition of the large donor base whose members choose to lead by example in their participation in the Annual Giving Program and work hard to support the school in honor of our patron Saint, Joseph.
