Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy volleyball team were honored during a special recognition ceremony held January 24 in the Dining Hall. Certificates of participation, varsity letters and special awards were handed out by head coach Sivi Miller and assistant coaches Shelly O’Dowd and Kayce Didier.
Team members and their families enjoyed a video, cake and drinks.
Named to the Academic All-State Team for Division I was senior Julie Capps.
Varsity award winners were as follows:
Impact Player Award: Caitlin Carlos
Setter Award: Emma Hiller
Offensive Player of the Year Award: Audrey Marsh
Defensive Player of the Year Award: Jacie McClure
SJA (Sportsmanship/Journey/Achievement) Award: Brooke Carney, Julie Capps and Tiffany Kelly
Coaches’ Award: Brooke Carney
Most Valuable Player: Morgan Miller
