Description:
French II Club offers second-year students of French the opportunity to experience the French language and culture outside of the classroom. At monthly meetings, students celebrate French holidays and customs through song/dance/games. A field trip to an Acadian cemetery on All-Saints Day and a French caroling party at Christmas encourage the students to vivent comme les Français! Through presentations by guests/former students, members learn about opportunities for travel and participation in study programs in French-speaking countries. Membership in French II Club enriches the students’ experience in the French language and culture.
