Description:

The Key Club is a service organization open to students in all grade levels. The club undertakes school, church and community projects and works in conjunction with its sponsoring club, Baton Rouge Downtown Kiwanis. Each project is assigned a point value. Students must accumulate 15 points per semester to be inducted as an official member of the international organization. Once students have been inducted, they must continue to accumulate 15 points per semester to remain a member. Club members who qualify may attend both the Divisional Rally and District Convention. Major projects include the Battered Women’s Shelter-twice a month, Kiwanis Pancake Festival, JDF Walk, Alumnae Halloween Carnival, Light the Night Walk and American Legion’s Roadrunner dances.
