Description:
Work on the yearbook begins in the summer when the editors attend the Herff Jones workshop to create a theme for the upcoming year’s book and design the cover and templates. The Shield staff participates in a competition during this workshop. During the year, the staff meets two or three times a month to discuss ideas and create detailed layouts for the yearbook. The editors-in-chief and the section editors work well into the summer to ensure the yearbook is designed and completed in a timely manner.
