Admissions

Thank you for your interest in St. Joseph’s Academy. We look forward to partnering with you as you embark on your high school search. The Admissions Office staff is eager to help you learn what makes the Academy so special.

St. Joseph’s Academy is a Catholic, college-preparatory school for young women in grades 9-12. The mission of St. Joseph’s Academy is to educate young women as responsible and unifying members of the world community. In the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph’s Academy offers opportunities for faith development in the Catholic tradition, academic excellence and personal growth.

Since our founding 156 years ago, St. Joseph’s Academy students have been immersed in strong traditions and academic excellence and have built life-long friendships with their classmates. Through a variety of academic and co-curricular activities, our students become life-long learners who are well-equipped to embrace an ever-changing world. Our robust one-to-one learning environment ensures that technology is integrated across our curriculum. Our goal is that SJA students leave here as confident, well-rounded young women who will make a difference in their communities.

SJA offers a variety of opportunities for you to experience life at our school, and we encourage you to visit campus. Our Open House is held each year on the third Thursday in October, and we invite you to join us for an exciting evening. Other opportunities to see campus during the school day include Spend-the-Day visits for 8th grade girls and Coffee on Kleinert for 6th, 7th and 8th grade parents. Private tours are available at your convenience. Call the Admissions Office at (225) 388-2243 to schedule your tour.

We look forward to meeting you!
