Middle School Choir Experience: Una Voce

WHO: Girls and boys in grades 6-8

WHAT: Middle school students are invited to join us for A Middle School Choir Experience: Una Voce Live presented by the SJA/CHS Choir Program. SJA/CHS singers will come together to make one choir, one voice, Una Voce! Middle school students will enjoy the opportunity to sing with our high school singers, learn some simple pieces and perform a mini concert for parents at the conclusion of the evening.

WHEN: Friday, February 21, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

MIDDLE SCHOOL Red & White Night: SOFTBALL

WHO: Girls in grades 6-8 (entry is free)

WHAT: Cheer on the Redstickers softball team as they play Central High School! Snacks will be provided throughout the game and students will enjoy a meet and greet with SJA players and coaches after the game. The game begins at 4:30 p.m.

WHEN: Thursday, March 20, 2025  |  4:30-7:00 p.m. (Drop off begins at 4:15 p.m.)

WHERE: Hartley/Vey Sports Park (Oak Villa), 2615 Oak Villa Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815

Spend the Day at SJA

What better way to learn all about St. Joseph’s Academy than to spend the day on our campus?

WHO: Girls in grade 8 are invited to spend the day as an SJA student!

WHAT: Our Spend the Day visitors will talk to our teachers and students, visit our classes, learn about opportunities in athletics and student clubs, enjoy lunch and get answers to all their questions about life as a student at SJA.

WHO: Girls in grades 6-8

WHAT: This experience gives your daughter the unique opportunity to perform with the CHS/SJA Band and Bruinettes and get a sense of what it means to be a part of a high school band or dance team. It also allows participants to experience the spirit of these two well-established high schools and their traditions.

WHEN: Thursday, October 10, 2024  |  5:30-7:30 p.m. (Drop off begins at 5:15 p.m.)

WHAT: Cheer on the Redstickers volleyball team as they play Archbishop Hannan High School! Students will enjoy refreshments from SAGE Dining Services and a meet and greet with SJA players and coaches. The varsity match begins at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Drop off begins at 5:15 p.m. at the Academy Arts Center. Pick up at the Academy Student Center at 7:30 p.m.

WHEN: Saturday, October 26, 2024  |  8:30-10:00 a.m.

WHAT: Cheer on the Angels swim team as they compete in the final Capital City Swim League meet of the season! Visit with the coach and team members and enjoy a treat.

WHAT: Cheer on the Redsticker soccer team as they compete against Hahnville! Attendees will also have the chance to visit with SJA players and team coaches.

WHERE: Drop off at 6:30 p.m. at Mother Alice Hall (3080 Kleinert Avenue) for the pre-game tailgate. Pick-up at 9 p.m. at the Catholic High School Pete Boudreaux Field.

Open House FOR FAMILIES OF GIRLS IN GRADES 6-8

WHO: Girls in grades 6-8 and their families

WHEN: Thursday, October 17, 2024 | 3:30-7 p.m.

WHAT: Enjoy tours of campus led by Student Ambassadors. Visitors can see student performances and demonstrations showcasing the arts, academics, sports medicine and the STEM Lab. Guests can watch student technicians at work in our student-run Help Desk. SJA cheerleaders, SJA/CHS band and the Red Steppers competition dance team will perform.

WHERE:  Guided tours begin in Mother Alice Hall (3080 Kleinert Avenue) and conclude in the Fife Student Commons.
