School Masses

Legacy Mass & Reception

Our Alumnae Office will host the 12th annual Legacy Mass and Brunch on Sunday, August 18, 2024. We invite current students and their legacy mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers to attend. Email Alli Bourgeois '14 at bourgeoisa@sjabr.org by August 9, 2024, to RSVP. 

SJA Pickleball Tournament 

Alumnae, parents and friends of SJA are invited to participate in the second annual SJA Pickleball Tournament. This event features two great days on campus, connecting our community while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Those 18 and older are invited to register for this non-sanctioned event. This year's tournament dates are Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15.

The Soirée: A Redsticker Thursday Night

Our premier fundraising event, The Soirée: A Redsticker Thursday Night, brings together alumnae, parents and friends of SJA for a fun, casual evening of live music, delicious food, drinks and live and silent auctions. The event benefits our entire SJA community by providing funds for campus-wide enhancements. This year's celebration, The Soirée: A Redsticker Thursday Night, will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024. 

Career Day

Join us in preparing the next generation of Academy graduates for the workplace of tomorrow. On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, alumnae will gather on campus to share their career experiences or discuss their college experiences with the junior and senior classes. Decade LuncheonS

Come celebrate this wonderful time of year with your fellow Redstickers! We invite all SJA alumnae from the 1950s to a ladies' Christmas luncheon on campus on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. SJA alumnae from the 1960s are invited to join us for a ladies' Christmas luncheon on campus on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Six-Month Reunion

Each year, members of the most recent graduating class are invited to return to campus in celebration of their six-month reunion. Come enjoy an opportunity to visit with classmates, faculty and staff and see recent changes to campus. The six-month reunion for the class of 2024 will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024. Redsticker Social

Alumnae in the Baton Rouge area are invited to join us for happy hour in the Fife Student Commons on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. Last year, we hosted a wine pairing with Pink Flamingo Cooking Co., owned by Yvette Barbier Aillet '09. SJA Tennis Classic

Alumnae, parents and friends of SJA are invited to participate in the annual SJA Tennis Classic, a weekend of tennis and fellowship at Bocage Racquet Club. This year's tournament is set for March 21-23, 2025.

Athletic Hall of Fame 

The SJA Athletic Hall of Fame honors those who have made significant contributions to athletics at the Academy, in particular former student-athletes, coaches and volunteers. This year's induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025. For more information on members of the Hall of Fame, we invite you to visit our Hall of Fame page. 

Honors Convocation

Our beautiful Honors Convocation ceremony inducts the graduating class into the sisterhood of the SJA Alumnae Association. Honors Convocation for the class of 2025 will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025. We invite their Big Sisters, members of the class of 2022, to join as volunteers and be the first to congratulate our new alumnae.

Alumnae Trip

Grand Reunion

Our favorite weekend of the year invites all of our milestone classes to join us on campus for Family Day! Alumnae celebrating their 5-, 10-, 20-, 25-, 30-, 40- and 50-year reunions can tour our campus and gather with classmates for fun and fellowship on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Your class representative will provide details on each class’ individual reunion plans.
