Individual Accomplishments
Parker Harrell was named MVP of the state tournament. 

Parker Harrell and Caitlin Carlos were selected to play in the 2013 LHSCA Volleyball All-Star game. Carlos was named Miss Louisiana Volleyball and MVP of the match after leading the West squad to a 3-1 victory. 

Parker Harrell was named NOLA.com’s Baton Rouge-area Large Schools Player of the Year; Coach Sivi Miller was named Coach of the Year. Also named to the All-Baton Rouge area team were Caitlin Carlos, Madison Daigle, Jacie McClure and Hanna Rovira. 

SJA brought home five category awards in NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune’s Inaugural Prep Volleyball Fan awards. Parker Harrell won the Super Setter Award (Best Setter); Jacie McClure won the Excavator Award (Best Libero/Defensive Specialist); Hanna Rovira won the Sledge Hammer Award (Best Outside Hitter); Madison Daigle won the Return to Sender Award (Best Middle Blocker); and Sivi Miller was named Coach of the Year. 

Harrell was named the Advocate’s Star of Stars for volleyball. She signed scholarship papers to play volleyball at Texas State. 

Jacie McClure signed scholarship papers to play volleyball at Louisiana Tech.

Individual Accomplishments
Brenda LeBlanc retired from coaching high school volleyball after winning 13 state championships as a player and coach. In her 13 years as coach at SJA, the Redstickers won the 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 state titles. The 2002 squad finished 43-0, one of the few teams in Louisiana high school volleyball history to go undefeated. During the span of winning an unprecedented four state titles in a row, the Redstickers had a combined record of 165-9. In 13 years at SJA, LeBlanc’s teams amassed a record of 468-84.

Clare Prichard signed scholarship papers to play volleyball at Mississippi College.
