Clubs & Activities

Discovering interests extends beyond the classroom at SJA.

A wide range of student clubs and organizations enables our young women to discover and develop their unique talents and skills. Forty-plus clubs and organizations appeal to a variety of interests and foster leadership, collaboration and fun.

Clubs focus on the arts, humanities, STEM, theology, service and general interest. Many clubs are affiliated with state and national organizations.

Students are bound to find an outlet for their interests. They are also encouraged to submit proposals for new clubs to further enhance SJA’s co-curricular program.

Below are the clubs and organizations offered at St. Joseph’s Academy.

New to SJA

Because SJA students are always exploring areas of interest and discovering their passions, they are encouraged to propose ideas for new clubs to the administration. New clubs introduced this year include My Sister's Keeper, Key Club, Karaoke Club and Quiz Bowl.

Intramural Sports

All SJA students can enjoy athletic competition, thanks to our intramural sports program. Each year, our Health & Physical Education department offers students the opportunity to compete in team or partner sports, including volleyball, ping pong, lacrosse, badminton, archery, prison ball, pickleball and more.

For information on SJA's intramural offerings, contact Tim LaBauve at labauvet@sjabr.org.
