Annual Can Drive

The 2026 Can Drive is happening now!

Support SJA and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank during our annual Can Drive on Thursday, February 26, through Thursday, March 5.

The Can Drive is a long-standing tradition for SJA and serves as the kick-off to Challenge Day season. Each year, our community comes together to support our local food bank with a goal of collecting at least 24 pounds of food per student. This year’s goal is 26,952 pounds!

HOW TO HELP

Fill the PODS: Bring your donations to SJA’s campus at the main office on Broussard Street any time between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.! We are collecting non-perishable canned goods. No glass, rice, #10 cans or liquids can be accepted.

Can’t make it to campus?
• Make a donation directly to the Food Bank in SJA’s honor online here. Direct donations count towards up to 20 percent of the school’s goal, or $1,872. Each dollar donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank provides three meals to the hungry in our community.

• Contribute to SJA’s Can Fund by sending a Venmo donation to Student Council Moderator Jennifer Nola: @Jennifer-Nola.

Thank you for supporting SJA and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank!
