The Mother-Daughter Brunch and Style Show, hosted by the St. Joseph’s Academy Mothers’ Club on March 5, enjoyed a big turnout. Nearly 1,200 SJA students and their mothers enjoyed the special event at Raising Cane’s River Center, which featured seniors accompanied by their moms and modeling the latest spring fashions. The theme for this year’s event was Mamma Mia.

Participating boutiques were LOVE, Aria, Hemline Towne Center, Lukka, NK Boutique, Edit, Hemline Highland, Vertage Clothing, Chic, Head over Heels, August and Chatta Box. 

Mothers’ Club Membership Chair Julie Massey welcomed the large crowd and introduced the Mothers’ Club executive board: Maradith Boone, Whitney Graves, Connie Lieux, Piper Wilson, Kelly Vaughan, Amy Joubert, Neila Stone and Cydney Morris. She also introduced event chair Neila Stone and her daughter, Neila Camille, and co-chair Andrae Hebert and her daughter, Kate. Neila Camille and Kate offered the opening prayer. 

Guest dancers were Catholic High School students Aidan Moreau, Bishop Landry, Cole Hidalgo, Hudson Brown, Kyle Houser, Max Cavana, Nick Fawley, Owen Charlson, Owen Fourrier and Jack Jarreau. 

Mothers’ Club Moderator Cydney Morris drew for door prizes, provided by The Amazing Lash Studio, Aria, ART Boutique, Bath Junkie, Blue Spero Boutique, Chatta Box Boutique, Chic, CoCo Lash Beauty Bar, Dawson Street Boutique, Dr. Z at Z dermatology, EDIT, European Wax Center, Fab’rik, Frock Candy, H.
