Cross Country Team Celebrates 2025 Season
Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy cross country team were honored at a special recognition ceremony on January 6 in the Fife Student Commons. The awards banquet was hosted by cross country moms Stephanie Crews and Rachael Blake.
Among the highlights of the 2025 season, in which the team finished as the runner-up in the LHSAA State Championship meet, were a 7-0 regular season mark, a 19th consecutive Metro championship and a 10th consecutive Division 1-Region 2 championship. The team finished second in the state composite rankings on the year.
Coach Mark LaHaye and assistant coaches Kate Cook and Sara Catherine Buie presented certificates of participation, varsity letters and special awards.
Four-year letters were awarded to Grace Martin and Tiana Khuri. During their four-year cross country careers, the Redstickers won three state championships and was state runner-up once. Martin and Khuri were also recognized for being named to the LHSAA All-Academic State Team.
Recognized as 2025 All-Metro First Team designees were Audrey Manda, Cate Barbier, Hannah Schneider, Hope Lemoine and Olivia Crews. Named to the honorable mention team were Charlotte Beck, Grace Martin, Kaitlyn Garidel, Noella Fields and Tiana Khuri.
Honored as LHSAA/LTFCA All-State selections were Hannah Schneider and Audrey Manda.
A number of special awards were given, as well.

Most Valuable Runner: Hannah Schneider
