Gymnastics Team Celebrates 2026 Season
Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy gymnastics team celebrated the 2026 season with an awards party on April 30 in the Fife Student Commons.
The gymnasts finished second in the 2026 LHSAA State Gymnastics Meet earlier this month.
Head coach Natalie Pitts, assistant coach Zoe Crawford and faculty moderator Kevin Durbin presented participation certificates and varsity letters – including four-year letters to Lauren Bonney, Sophia Marionneaux and Avery Snedigar – as well as several special awards.
Most Valuable Gymnast: Landon LeBouef
Coach’s Award: Camille Funes
Most Improved: Rylee Lovelace
The gymnasts also received medals from the LHSAA. Level 4 and Level 8 gymnasts received their state championship medals, and Level 3 and the overall team were awarded state runner-up medals.
