Coach Natalie Pitts said her gymnasts performed with confidence and determination. “They pushed themselves to new limits,” she said. “I teach them and truly hope they understand that pressure is a privilege, and that is what builds you as a strong gymnast and competitor. While our goal was to win, we had a few obstacles in our way. However, the SJA gymnastics team persevered, and I think they achieved something truly special.”

She said that team captain Juliette Schmitt kept her teammates focused throughout the competition. “She gathered her team with such strong assistance and dedication,” Pitts said. “Progress with a lot of detail was key in all performances, and they all gave beyond 100 percent.”
