Mothers’ Club Hosts Brunch and Style Show

The 2025 Mother-Daughter Brunch and Style Show, hosted by the St. Joseph’s Academy Mothers’ Club on April 6, was a great success. SJA students and their mothers enjoyed the special event at Raising Cane’s River Center, which featured seniors accompanied by their moms and modeling the latest spring fashions. The theme for this year’s event was Love Sticker Fancy.

Participating boutiques were Hemline Highland Road, Aria, NK Boutique, Lukka Boutique, Love Boutique, Head Over Heels, August Boutique, Vertage Clothing, Edit, Emily Katherine Boutique, Fab’rik Baton Rouge, Hemline Towne Center, Chatta Box Boutique, Gimme Gimme Boutique and Rodéo Boutique.

Mothers’ Club President Krista Valluzzo welcomed the large crowd and introduced event chair Elise Cazes and her daughter Brenley ’27 and co-chair Amy Fasullo and her daughter Mia Carlson ’26. Brenley and Mia offered the opening prayer.

Joining Hebert and Cazes on the planning committee were Andrae Hebert, Chrissy Roussel, Julie Watson, Sydney Braud, Katey Bergeron, Kim LeBoeuf, Heddie Murthy, Tina Rispone and Kassi Samson. Mothers’ Club executive board members are Krista Valluzzo, president; Caroline Lemann, vice president; Whitney Graves, past president; Christina Boudreaux, secretary; Ann Michael Lagarde, treasurer; Elizabeth Weiler, membership; and Jenny Vargas, Sticker Shop.

Guest dancers were Catholic High School students Miles Babin, Josh Tucker, Lee Dirks, Nico Jones, Charlie Lanehart, Tate McCurry, Gus Piazza, Jack Ritter, Hudson Rounds and Brady Waguespack. Laney LeBoeuf choreographed their dances.

Event sponsors were Thornton, Musso & Bellemin Water Treatment Consultants and Alpha-Lit Baton Rouge.

Tina LaHaye provided the commemorative charms given to each student in attendance.
