SJA Introduces Faculty Fellows Program

St. Joseph’s Academy has created the Faculty Fellows Program, a leadership development initiative designed to support employees who are interested in exploring roles in educational leadership and administration. Faculty Fellows will work closely with school administrators in one of six key operational areas, gaining hands-on experience, contributing to strategic initiatives and helping shape the future of the school.

Faculty Fellows for 2025-2026 are Lauren Sommer, scheduling/data analysis; Sarah McCann, dual enrollment coordinator; Laura Bordelon, new teacher program coordinator; Kate Hutcheson, new course coordinator; Stephanie Faucette, school accreditation lead; and Cherie Lato, summer school/summer PE coordinator.

“This program provides a unique opportunity for educators to grow professionally while playing a vital role in the functioning, improvement and decision making of our academic programs,” Principal Stacia Andricain said.

The goals of the Faculty Fellows Program include the development of leadership among faculty members; providing meaningful administrative experience in targeted operational areas; strengthening school systems through collaborative leadership; and supporting succession planning and talent development within the school.
