Soccer Program Celebrates 2026 Season

Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy soccer program were honored during a special recognition ceremony on March 30 in the Academy Student Center.

The Redstickers varsity team finished the season with a 19-3-3 mark, advancing to the semifinal round of the state playoffs for the fifth time in six years. The program as a whole, also including freshman and JV teams, finished the season 45-5-4. Forty-seven young women competed on one of three SJA soccer teams.

Coach Kyle Carmouche awarded certificates of participation and varsity letters. He was joined at the ceremony by assistant coaches Jimmy Cook, Joshua Graham and Brad Wilson and faculty moderator Kelly Hilliard. 

Earning a fourth varsity letter was Ivy May.

Honored as All-State All-Academic Class Team members were Claire Canova, Amelia Lalonde, Avery Papania and Clare Valluzzo. 

Honored for being named to the All-District First Team were Claire Canova, Camille Durnin, Liv Lawrence, Wren Marchand, Ivy May, AG McDaniel, Avery Papania and Camille Toussant. All-District Second Team members were Grace Mathis and Ashlyn Meliet. 

All-Metro First Team honorees were Liv Lawrence, Ivy May (Overall MVP), Avery Papania and Camille Toussant (Defensive MVP).

Honored as members of the All-State Team were Liv Lawrence, Ivy May, Avery Papania and Camille Toussant.

A number of special awards were handed out, as well.
