Soccer Team Celebrates 2025 Season

Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy soccer team were honored during a special recognition ceremony on April 14 in the Academy Student Center.

The Redstickers finished the season with a 22-2-1 mark and were District 5 champions for the 12th year in a row.

Coach Kyle Carmouche awarded certificates of participation and varsity letters. He was joined at the ceremony by assistant coaches Eric Ellis, Jimmy Cook and Kelly Hillard. Coach Ellis retired at the end of the season, having compiled 102 wins in his five-year SJA career.

Earning their fourth varsity letter were Gracie Davis, Angelina Rispone and Alyssa Wilson.

Honored for being named to the All-District First Team were Anna Alleman, Kaylee Cothren, Gracie Davis (Offensive MVP), Ivy May, Samee McDaniel, Avery Papania, Angelina Rispone (Overall MVP), Camille Toussant (Defensive MVP) and Alyssa Wilson.

All-Metro First Team honorees recognized were Anna Alleman, Gracie Davis and Angelina Rispone (Overall MVP).

Honored as members of the All-State First Team were Gracie Davis, Ivy May, Angelina Rispone and Camille Toussant. Second Team members were Anna Alleman, Avrey Papania and Alyssa Wilson.

A number of special awards were handed out, as well.
