Student-Athletes Named to All-Academic Teams

Senior members of St. Joseph’s Academy’s winter and spring sports teams have been recognized for academic excellence and named to the 2019 LHSAA All-Academic All-State teams for their respective sports. The program is presented by ISC. 

The program honors senior student-athletes who have achieved a three-year cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Student-athletes with an unweighted, six-semester 4.0 GPA are named to their sport’s Composite All-Academic All-State team.

Named to the Class 5A All-Academic Basketball Team were Lauren Saunders, Julia Welsh, Tori Collier, Ella Barhorst and Rachel Weaver.

Emily DeSoto was named to the Class 5A All-Academic Bowling Team.

Named to the All-Academic Composite Soccer Team was Corrine Hutchinson. Named to the Division I All-Academic Soccer Team were Andrea Matus, Hallie Legendre, Grace Morrison and Gabby Barreneche. 

Emma Daniel and Camille Fremaux were named to the Division I All-Academic Tennis Team.

Named to the Class 5A All-Academic Track and Field Team were Alexis Barbay, Catherine Couvillion, Olivia Devall, Lauren Hendry, Emily Kukura, Leanne Livingston, Kylie Angelle Martin, Katherine McCullen, Kayleigh Mims, Peyton Smith, Madeline Toler, Margaret Turner and Taylor Winters.
