Student-Athletes Sign Commitment Papers
Five St. Joseph’s Academy seniors signed their commitment papers on April 23 and will compete on the collegiate level next year. The signing ceremony was held in the Academy Student Center and attended by a large gathering of family members, teammates, friends, faculty/staff members and coaches.
Lily Clark will cheer at Mississippi State University, Ava Doucet will bowl at the University of Alabama Birmingham, Soleil Joseph will cheer at Southeastern Louisiana University, Audrey Lemoine will swim at Delta State University and Camryn Odle will cheer at Morehead State University.
Doucet is a three-time All-District First Team selection, including All-District MVP in 2026. She qualified for the state singles championship the last three years and became SJA’s first singles champion as a senior. She was joined at the ceremony by her parents, Kathryn and Garrett Doucet; grandmother Dawn Zaske; and aunt Raegan Dunn. SJA bowling coach Garth Ridge was also present. “I’m looking forward to growing my game and competing in a new competitive environment in a team-based format,” Doucet said.
Joseph is a two-year member of SJA’s NHSCC championship squads and a two-time NCA champion with Louisiana Cheer Force. She was part of the Cheerleading Worlds Silver Medalist Louisiana Cheer Force Team. She was joined at the ceremony by her mother, Anna Robarge; father, Allen Joseph Jr.; grandmother Cheryl Joseph; and aunt Shaydra Joseph. Also in attendance were cheer coaches Jade Blalock, Lauren Sommer, Shore Morris, Raul Vazquez and Heart Williams.
“What I’m looking forward to most about becoming a collegiate athlete is fulfilling my childhood dream of competing at the Division I level and continuing to grow into the person I want to become through cheer,” Joseph said. “Being part of cheer at SJA has led me to some of my closest friendships, so I’m excited to build new bonds with my teammates at Southeastern.”
Clark was part of three national championship SJA cheerleading squads and is a two-time NCA champion and two-time Cheersport champion. She is part of the 2026 UCA staff. She was joined at the ceremony by her parents, Brandi and Scott Clark; grandmother Brenda Angel; and brother Grayson Clark. Coaches in attendance were Jade Blalock, Raul Vazquez, Shore Morris, Caroline Strother, Mike Mosely and Kirby Mosely.
“I am looking forward to meeting my best friends and cheering on my bulldogs in Davis Wade Stadium,” Clark said.
Lemoine was a member of SJA state champion swim teams as a freshman, sophomore and senior. She is a three-time All-Metro selection and was named the winner of the Outstanding Angel award four consecutive years. Her parents are Melanie and Brian Lemoine.
Odle is a four-year member of the SJA cheerleaders, which have captured six consecutive national championships. She is a four-time UCA All-American, a two-time Summit champion and a 2022 Cheersport champion. Her parents and Malia and Christopher Odle.
