Tennis Team Honored at Awards Party

The state champion St. Joseph’s Academy tennis team celebrated the 2021 season with a May 13 awards party in the SJA Dining Hall.

Coaches Jason and Tammy Noonan awarded varsity letters, including a four-year letter to senior Mary Granier.

Sophomore Shobe Manuel was named Most Valuable Player, and sophomore Hayden Hoffman received the Coaches’ Award. Granier was honored for being named to the Academic All-State Division I Team. 

The doubles team of Manuel and junior Anne Scott Guglielmo was honored for winning the Division I state doubles championship and the Division I-Region II championship. Senior Mary Dabadie was recognized for winning the regional championship.
