Tennis Team Hosts Awards Party
The three-time state champion St. Joseph’s Academy tennis team celebrated the 2023 season with an awards party on May 11 at Superior Grill on Highland.
Coaches Jason and Tammy Noonan and faculty moderator Cindy Downs awarded participation certificates and varsity letters, including a four-year letter to senior Shobe Manuel.
A highlight video created by freshmen Kate McCann and Bella DuBos was shown, and the team’s three seniors, Manuel, Caroline Pousson and Hayden Hoffman, received blankets and acrylic lapboards.
Hayden Hoffman was named the winner of the Coaches’ Award, and Caroline Pousson was named the Most Valuable Player.
