Track Team Competes in Last Chance Indoor Qualifier
The St. Joseph’s Academy track and field team competed in the 2024 LSU Last Chance Indoor Qualifier on February 3 in the Carl Maddox Field House. This was the last meet before the LHSAA Indoor State Championship on February 17.
Finishing in the top 20 in their respective events at the unscored Last Chance Qualifier were the following:
60 meters: Dillon Landry, 6th place, 7.73 (program best, personal record)
60 meter hurdles: Audrey Manda, 11th place, 10.10 (personal record)
400 meters: Alexandria Stewart, 5th place, 58.87 (program best, personal record); Jaelyn Jones, 17th place, 1:02.28
800 meters: Michelle Daigle, 2nd place, 2:20.96 (program best, personal record); Hannah Vaughan, 13th place, 2:30.21
1,600 meters: Elise Brown, 1st place, 5:00.09 (program best, personal record); Michelle Daigle, 4th place, 5:10.47 (personal record)
3,200 meters: Elise Brown, 1st place, 11:00.51 (program best, personal record); Grace Rennhoff, 7th place, 11:37.05 (personal record)
High jump: Kennedy Papillion, 1st place, 4-11.75
Pole vault: Reese Andermann, 15th place, 7-11.50
Triple jump: Paige Ullrich, 16th place, 30-07.50
4x200 meter relay: Dillon Landry, Audrey Manda, Jaelyn Jones and Alexandria Stewart, 2nd place, 1:44.64
4x400 meter relay: Jaelyn Jones, Audrey Manda, Michelle Daigle and Alexandria Stewart, 5th place, 4:12.71
4x800 meter relay: Ainsley Brignac, Sara Pasquier, Grace Rennhoff and Hannah Vaughan, 2nd place, 10:14.14
