Track Team Competes in Last Chance Qualifier
The St. Joseph’s Academy track and field team competed in the 2020 LSU Last Chance Qualifier on February 8. The meet was held in the Carl Maddox Field House.
Finishing in the top 20 in their respective events were the following:
4x200m Relay: Haley Jones, Olivia Cook, McKenna Ramsey and Hannah Jones, 4th place, 1:48.06
1,600m Run: Isabelle Brown, 1st place, 5:21.83; Virginia Dirks, 4th place, 5:28.02
800m Run: Elise Jones, 7th place, 2:32.85; Lydia Poche, 8th place, 2:32.88
60m Hurdles: Sophie Kronenberger, 11th place, 10.31
4x800m Relay: Elise Jones, Lydia Poche, Anna Camille Eagleton and Isabelle Brown, 2nd place, 10:09.38
3,200m Run: Maddie Kate Gardiner, 1st place, 11:36.86; Sophie Martin, 2nd place, 11:40.93
4x400m Relay: Haley Jones, Olivia Cook, Alessandra Purnell and Hannah Jones, 5th place, 4:15.28
High Jump: Riley Wilson, 3rd place, 5-03.00; Reese Favaloro, 17th place, 4-07.00
Long Jump: Lucy Oatley, 11th place, 15-08.75
Triple Jump: Lucy Oatley, 8th place, 32-10.50; Elizabeth Usher, 11th place, 32-01.25
