Track Team Honored at Awards Presentation
The St. Joseph’s Academy track and field team celebrated the successes of the 2023 indoor and outdoor seasons with an awards presentation on May 11 in the Fife Student Commons.
Head coach Charlie Daigle, along with assistant coach Tommy Dorion, handed out certificates of participation and varsity letters, including four-year letters to seniors Simone Castelluccio, Lyndsey Darensbourg, Isabella Lalonde and Riley Wilson.
A number of special awards were handed out. They are as follows:
Most Valuable Performer: Elise Brown

Most Points Performer (Throwing Events): Lyndsey Darensbourg

Recognized for qualifying for the LHSAA Division I State Indoor Championship were Anna Alleman, Elise Brown, Catherine Burkhalter, Simone Castelluccio, Michelle Daigle, Lydnsey Darensbourg, Kate Gonsoulin, Elizabeth Gordon, Emma Claire Hendry, Jaelyn Jones, Rachel Kerr, Tiana Khuri, Dillon Landry, Kennedy Papillion, Grace Rennhoff, Inessa Robillard and Alex Stewart.
Mobile Challenge of Champions participants recognized were Anna Alleman, Elise Brown, Simone Castelluccio, Michelle Daigle, Lyndsey Darensbourg, Katherine Gonsoulin, Jaelyn Jones, Rachel Kerr, Dillon Landry, Grace Rennhoff, Inessa Robillard and Alex Stewart.
