Track Team Opens Outdoor Season with Win

Fresh off its runner-up finish in the LHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championship, the St. Joseph’s Academy track and field team opened the 2023 outdoor season with a big win in the 2023 CHS Tip-Off Invitational, held March 4 at Catholic High School. The Redstickers scored 228 points to finish ahead of Mount Carmel (130), Episcopal (91), Cabrini (51), Walker (36), University Lab (20) and St. Michael (12). 

Ten personal best performances were turned in. 

Meet results are as follows.

100 meters: Dillon Landry, 2nd place, 12.95; Jalaysia Queen, 11th place, 14.32; Anna Kate Terrell, 16th place, 14.65; Sadie Traylor, 18th place, 14.84
