Volleyball Team Honored at Awards Celebration
Members of the St. Joseph’s Academy volleyball team celebrated the 2025 season as they were honored during an awards ceremony on January 11 in the Academy Student Center.
First-year head coach Donna Pixley, along with assistant coaches Megan Welsh, Hannah Pixley-Saizan and Ava Ricks, awarded certificates of participation, varsity letters and special awards to the freshman, JV and varsity teams.
Earning their fourth varsity letters were Caroline Burkhalter, Gracie Mann and Emmy Neumann.
Recognized for garnering post-season honors were the following.
Senior Gracie Mann: All-District Outstanding Offensive Player, All-Metro MVP, All-State, West All-Star Team selection and voted Miss Volleyball at the All-Star match
Senior Caroline Burkhalter: First Team All-District, All-Metro
Senior Emmy Neumann: First Team All-District, All-Metro Honorable Mention
Senior Caroline Hultberg: All-District Honorable Mention
Senior Sarah Gordon: All-District Honorable Mention
Junior Mackenzie Chuilli: All-District Outstanding Defensive Player, All-Metro
